Below are three examples of logo and brand identity projects I’ve taken on for independent small businesses owners. The first example did not come to fruition unfortunately, but the last two are active small businesses. It’s always a joy to do branding projects as I get to initiate discovery phases to understand what clients are looking to do in their business, understand their likes and dislikes of different visual styles/what draws them, and getting to make a vision come to life from scratch.

Nomadica is a small female-led business for canned wines that I got to know well when I worked at a wine shop. The owner features local NYC artists’ work on the cans, and I was inspired by this to create something to showcase the brand’s dedication to artistry. I chose to design a short booklet featuring the 4 primary selections to show to the owner.

As a freelancer, I created and submitted a print-ready flyer to Children’s Aid as a design test. I was ultimately not chosen to be the freelancer for the short-term contract. However, I got good feedback on this flyer and want to keep showcasing my print projects when I have the opportunity. This flyer was designed in InDesign, and I typically create print materials in InDesign.
